Welcome to the new Family Club website. It has been put together to help keep members up-to date with news and events at the Family Club.

Since the committee has been reformed, we have had some excellent entertainment evenings, with an exciting program of events scheduled currently until August.

We currently have a Facebook page, where comments on events, news, ideas for events, and discussions can be posted by anyone who “likes” the page. Please let Dave Timmins know if there are any difficulties or issues with the Facebook page or this website.

Please check the events pages frequently, as event information may change frequently.

If you have not been into the club for a while you may not know:-

• We now have a Juke Box installed (selections are made in the Bar area), if you have any specific requests, then please let one of the committee know.
• The Projection television in the family room has now been replaced by a 50” LCD Television, giving much improved picture quality.
• Decoration in the family room is now a little more family friendly.

On 19^th March, on of the best Robbie Williams tributes, Mike Andrew took to the St Matthews stage. Although the attendance was a little disappointing, Mike delivered an excellent and personalized performance, with anyone who came had a very enjoyable evening.

However, hiring a top class performer like Mike is excellent value for money, the club needed to sell around 120 tickets for the event to cover costs. For this reason the ticket price was per seat, not child and adult separate prices like some of the club’s events. It was noted that a few children were at the event that did not have tickets. DJT-Disco was again provided free of charge for the event to help keep the costs to a minimum.
